The Hilal of Rajab was seen at several
places in the evening of Thursday June 2. The first date of Rajab 1432 is
Friday, June 3, 2011

Rajab Hilal will be easily seen in most the USA after the sunset, though not in
most of Canada. At the sunset, the Moon's age is 27-31 hours, altitude about 10
degrees, angle: 13-15 degrees, and lag approx 60 minutes.
However, Fairbanks, Alaska will not see a moon despite its age (35 hours), angle
(17.3 degrees) and Lag (68 minutes). It altitude is only 3.8 degrees.

Asia, Europe: Not Visible
The Hilal will be visible in these regions on June 3, making June 4 the first
Day of Rajab.

Sh'abaan Hilal is expected to be visible
in the evening of July 2, 2011. The earliest visibility may start from Australia
though a Hilal will not be seen in Tokya, Central Asia, Turkey, Northern Europe,
including England, Northen Canada, etc.
